Become A Professional At Applying False Lashes

Makeup Tutorial: Become A Professional At Applying False Lashes

Let us see what secrets about false lashes "beauty and fashion experts", such as Lauren Cosenza, know. This makeup artist understands how important it is for us, girls, to look stunning.
And today she is ready and willing to share her beauty secrets with others.

Following her advice you will easily turn into an ace and see that the procedure is not as messy as it might seem at first.

This is what you will need:

• A set of false lashes
• Scissors
• A tube of lash glue
• Tweezers
• Mascara

1. First things first!

What you should start with is taking measurements. Take the false lashes and measure them to your eye. It‘s essential to make sure that they are not too long by aligning the strip against your natural lash line. Do not use eyeliner before you apply the falsies. Eyeliner will be applied at the very end of the procedure. And, on the contrary, if you were planning on applying eye shadow, then do it before you start applying falsies.

2. Use the scissors to cut the false lashes.

You might also want to trim them to look less fake and more natural. Remember that lashes are supposed to be of a different length in the outer and inner corners of your eyes.

3. Now that your false lashes are of the right length, you can apply glue.

Lash glue is used on the lash band. Lauren Cosenza as well as most women who often wear falsies recommends that you should use a black variety of glue. It will dry black and then perfectly blend in with eyeliner.

4. Do not apply the lashes immediately.

Let the glue on the band dry first - 5 seconds will be enough. Use tweezers to hold the lashes while the glue dries. Bear in mind that if you put the strip on when the glue is still too wet, the lashes will slide around. What you want is to instantly adhere them to your eyelid skin. The tackier the glue, the quicker and stronger it will attach along your natural lash line.

5. Now you can attach your falsies to your eyelid.

Again, use tweezers to hold the false lashes at the center. Put the strip onto your lash line and press it against the band with your fingers. Remember to apply them closer to your lash line.

6. Blend your natural lashes with the falsies.

Use your thumb and pointer finger and gently fuse your real and false lashes together.

7. Add mascara.

Professionals recommend that you should apply mascara in order to lock real lashes and falsies together, make them thicker, longer and even more defined.

8. Finally, use liquid eyeliner for more expressive and dramatic look.

Not only will it define the line, it will also blend in the glue for a perfect seamless finish. You look fabulous, indeed
