5 Steps to Speed Up Your Makeup Routine
Time-consuming makeup procedures can be simplified.
You can easily save your time and avoid wasting your precious minutes while dolling up in front of the mirror every single morning if you follow the steps below.

1. Concealer
If you are not completely satisfied with your complexion, use concealer. It will take you half a minute to apply it on your blemishes or under-eye circles. Foundation is also a good way to improve the situation. Some women prefer to apply foundation before they use concealer, others think that concealer should be applied on top. It’s up to you in what order you put these two products. Use a sponge or a brush to apply foundation, although applying with fingertips is more economical.
2. BB cream

This product is a must-have. It serves many purposes: nourishment, hydration, illumination, plus it perfectly evens out your skin. BB creams are of light texture, although a little bit less sheer than tinted moisturisers. Instead of sunscreen, moisturiser concealer, foundation you can use BB cream only. It can replace highlighter and anti-aging serum as well. Besides, it hides wrinkles, lines and pores, softens your skin, makes it brighter and fresh looking. No other beauty products are needed to make your skin look perfect – BB cream solves all problems!
3. Eye liner or shadow

If you are in a rush and have too little time to apply both, then pick one product only. Neutral shadow over you eyelid will give a natural look. Eye liner will make your eyes stand out. For a more refined look apply eye liner on your upper eyelid. This will define your lash line and you might not even need to apply mascara afterwards. If you still want some mascara, then apply only one coat so that you wouldn’t need to wait for it to dry. All in all, applying shadow, eyeliner and mascara usually takes up to 2 minutes.
4. Bronzer or blush

Use either bronzer or blush if you want glowing and sun-touched skin. These products are especially good for those whose natural skin tone is pale. A very small amount of bronzer or blush is more than enough to make a difference. Remember that your bronzer should not be more than two shades darker than your natural complexion.
5. Lip gloss or lipstick

The final step includes application of lip gloss or lipstick. Both products are great. The difference is that applying lipstick might take a bit more time – for a perfect look you will need lip liner, too. Lip gloss can be put without lining your lip with a pencil. Whether you decide to wear lip gloss or lipstick, give preference to neutral and natural shades.
Planning ahead

Of course there are some certain procedures that should be taken care of beforehand. Stay groomed and learn to get organized. Regularly dye your roots and trim the tips of your hair, pluck your brows, and so on. Take additional care of your skin and body – use peelings, scrubs and masks. Always keep all of your most necessary makeup products ready for use, regularly clean your sponges, brushes, and other applicators. Put them in a convenient place either in your bathroom or on your bedroom table and let them be available at any time.
Killing two birds with one stone

BB cream is not the only product that replaces many others. Find your favourite 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. Instead of blush you can dab some lip tint on your cheekbones. Finally, there are plenty moisturisers with UV filters and nourishing components that take care of your skin 24/7.
